Gambling is a form of entertainment, not a source of income. Over the long run the house always has the edge, so the money you set aside for play should be money you can afford to lose. This page explains the age limit, the self-exclusion right and the signs that show you are starting to struggle.

The 18 age limit

To open an account at Lüks Casino and to play you must be 18 years old. An account opened by hiding one's age is closed, its bets are voided and no winnings are paid; the money deposited is returned to the account holder. A document may be requested through KYCAID to verify age.

The self-exclusion right

You have the right to close your own account unilaterally at any point. The request is confirmed through your registered email, and the exclusion runs for 90 days; login is blocked and no bonus notifications are sent during that time. A renewed request needs at least 30 days since the previous one, which stops the protection being lifted on a momentary decision.

Step What happens
Request. Self-exclusion is requested through the support channel.
Confirmation. The request is confirmed via the registered email.
Effect. Login is blocked for 90 days.
New request. A fresh request can be made no earlier than 30 days later.

Warning signs

If several of the sentences below sound familiar, it is time to stop playing and take stock.

  • You deposit more than you planned in order to win back what you lost.
  • You play with money set aside for rent, bills or debt payments.
  • You hide from those close to you how much you play.
  • You feel restless when you are not playing and think about the game constantly.
  • You give play the time meant for sleep, work or family.
  • You borrow money or sell belongings in order to play.

Protection of minors

Keeping children away from your account is your responsibility. Do not leave the session open on a shared computer, do not save the password in the browser and do not keep your payment instrument within reach. Parental control software at home is the most practical way to block gambling sites at device level.

How to ask for help

If you think you have lost control, open a self-exclusion request. You do not have to explain your reasons, and the request goes through the support channel. Contacting the addiction helpline in your country is also worth doing; free and confidential support is available there.

If you are worried about someone close to you, you cannot close that person's account yourself. You can report the situation to the support team and encourage the person to request self-exclusion. Exclusion records are kept under the Privacy Policy. General rules on closing an account are on the Terms and Conditions page.
